Cultural pressure to never wear the same outfit twice (especially to formal events, in photos, at work) is fast-fashion marketing in disguise. Most adult wardrobes work fine on outfit repetition. The shame around repeating is the problem, not the repeating.
What 'repeating' actually looks like
Same outfit twice in a week to different settings. Same dress at multiple events months apart. Same work outfit on rotation across the year. None of it problematic; all of it normal.
Where it matters less than feared
Workplaces (no one tracks colleagues' outfits closely). Social events with different people. Photo contexts (your followers don't remember).
Build a wardrobe of pieces you love and wear them often. Repeats are the natural result; embarrassment is artificial.
